Dr. Roy A. Kellerman, M.D.
Dr. Roy A. Kellerman is a board-certified primary care physician who has faithfully cared for the greater Hartford community for more than 40 years. He completed his premedical studies at Columbia University and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine.
As co-founder of Bethesda Medical Mission (BMM), Dr. Kellerman continues to serve as Medical Director, helping guide the organization’s vision and medical outreach efforts. In addition to his clinical practice, he serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the UConn School of Medicine, where he enjoys mentoring and shaping the next generation of physicians.
Dr. Kellerman is also the founder and host of the Annual Roy A. Kellerman Invitational Golf Tournament, which has been BMM’s largest annual fundraising initiative for over 15 years. Through this event, thousands of dollars have been raised to support mission trips and community outreach efforts locally and abroad.
A devoted community leader, Dr. Kellerman’s lifelong commitment to service has been recognized with numerous humanitarian honors, including the President’s Volunteer Service Award and official citations from the City of Hartford and the State of Connecticut. Above all, he remains passionate about using medicine as a ministry and serving others with compassion and care..

Dr. Bryan Wilson is a passionate dentist, humanitarian, and co-director of Bethesda Medical Mission Inc. (BMM), where he serves alongside Dr. Roy Kellerman. With a heart for service and a love for adventure, Dr. Wilson has dedicated his life to improving the health and well-being of others—both in his local community and across the globe.
A graduate of the renowned Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, Dr. Wilson earned his doctoral degree in dentistry in 1996. While in dental school, he was recognized for both his academic excellence in dental research and his heart for service, receiving awards for volunteer work—including a life-changing trip to Brazil, where he provided care to communities along the Amazon River.
Since then, Dr. Wilson has continued to blend his professional expertise with a spirit of compassion. He has participated in numerous mission trips, offering free dental care to underserved populations in countries around the world. His work through BMM reflects a deep commitment to faith, equity, and hands-on care that uplifts and heals.
At home in Connecticut, Dr. Wilson practices dentistry alongside his wife and partner, Kareen Wilson, at their family-friendly dental office in West Hartford. He is a proud member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association, and the Hartford Dental Society.
Outside the clinic and mission field, Dr. Wilson is a devoted husband and father who values faith, family, and purpose-driven living. Whether he's serving patients, leading medical missions, or simply enjoying time with loved ones, Dr. Wilson brings warmth, skill, and a sense of joy to everything he does.

Gus Lescouflair
Board ChairGustave “Gus” Lescouflair has been a dedicated member of the Bethesda Medical Mission (BMM) Board since 2011, bringing both financial expertise and a deep commitment to service. A lifelong learner, Gus earned his MBA from Columbia University and is currently completing the thesis for his Master of Public Health degree at the University of Connecticut—proof that retirement hasn’t slowed his curiosity or drive.
Gus became a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) in 1988 after completing the rigorous actuarial exams, launching a distinguished career in insurance and finance. He spent many years at VantisLife Insurance Company, where he ultimately served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer before retiring in 2009. Along the way, he also shared his knowledge in the classroom as a lecturer at both the University of Hartford and the University of Connecticut’s Business School.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Gus’s passion for service has taken him far beyond the boardroom. He has traveled extensively with medical missionary teams—including BMM—to the Caribbean and Southeast Asia, helping deliver free medical, dental, and eye care. He has also contributed his skills through financial counseling and English education, empowering individuals and communities to build more sustainable futures.
Gus currently serves as BMM’s coordinator for the House of Mercy orphanage in Haiti, a role that reflects both his leadership and his heart for hands-on mission work. Whether applying strategic insight or offering personal support, Gus brings compassion, humility, and unwavering dedication to everything he does.
Vice ChairJennifer Brown, PharmD
Jennifer Brown, PharmD, is a dedicated pharmacist with more than 30 years of experience in institutional pharmacy. Born on the beautiful island of Jamaica, she has called the United States home for over 45 years and brings a rich blend of professional expertise and compassionate service to Bethesda Medical Mission (BMM).
Dr. Brown earned her undergraduate degree from St. John’s University in New York and later completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Creighton University. Throughout her career, she has served in a variety of roles, including clinical pharmacist in the medical intensive care unit, member of the pharmacy pain management team, medical-surgical pharmacy team leader, and student mentor. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she volunteered as a community vaccinator and continues to serve as a member of the Community Emergency Response Team.
Jennifer has been privileged to serve with Bethesda Medical Mission since its inception and remains deeply committed to its work. She serves as the team’s pharmacist and as a board member, and in December 2025, she was elected Vice Chair of BMM. Having participated in every BMM mission trip, she looks forward to continuing her service—especially now in retirement—through ongoing mission work and community outreach.
Well known for her dedication to young people in her church and community, Jennifer is passionate about helping others in meaningful and practical ways. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her husband, Everald, playing Scrabble, and reading.
